I will research how the body is transformed with the energy of emotion in solo format, whilst thinking theatrically to encompass some elements of dance theatre that I am keen to explore. I enjoy creating a story then using the body to take something that is literal and see how abstract the ideas can morph to obscure the linear story form. I will work with my sound collaborator Dane Yates to develop an original sound score for the work. I am currently undertaking a period of artistic growth and looking towards creating a sustainable future for myself as a creative dance artist. A part of my journey is to further explore choreographic process and performance.

In a dream, she melts through a lament of shadows and ghosts of entities she will never forget.
Her sighing breath heightened by never quite fully understanding.
The sun chooses to beat her, the land erodes beneath her,
as the leaves that were once her protection are stolen without her knowing.
Are we all not, but visitors to this place?
Who has given over the right for one to choose what is his for the taking?
