Project name: Peer-to-Pier
Performance title: The Voyage

Together with the artists below I will work on a site specific piece entitled

“The Voyage”. The creation of the performance is the first phase of a one year Hong Kong –  Netherlands female artist exchange entitled “Peer-to-Pier”.

More info:

The performance result will be filmed and used to develop a second installation and  performance to be staged in the Netherlands (Summer 2016).

About the performance:
“The Voyage” is a performance: bold, timid, weird, serious, small, loud and all the other things we are!! Cultures, daily life and art meet each other. A pier is the place where a journey starts or ends. Hong Kong and Dutch female artists invite you to a journey over sea from one stage in life to another with the aim to expand. Silence and solitude, finding the little powerful Tom Thumb voice inside of self, making unpopular choices; all seem part of the journey to genuine unique expansion.  The female artists will reflect on their experiences in life and work, both successes and failures, struggles and achievements. Peer to peer refers to sharing information, intergenerational learning, being well grounded in self so that you can cheer on the other.
