EVELINE KELLER| BR/HK
Evelin is originally from Brazil, based in Hong Kong since 2004.
She followed Cuban Ballet Method Training in Bahia – Brazil, from early age until join and graduate Dance University Federal of Bahia-Brazil. 1997 Evelin was selected to join the Internship Programme at the Universidad De Murcia, Spain. 1999.
Evelin was member of Gisela Rocha Dance Company, artist in residency at the Guesneralle in Zurich Switzerland from 2001-2002
In Hong Kong, Evelin completed a Master Degree in Fine Arts at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, 2011.
Evelin created, choreographed and performed a solo piece called SONAR, a choreographic work in collaboration with musicians and a video artist for stage and screen. SONAR has been selected for several dance festivals and video dance screenings such as: Danca Brasil, Rio de Janeiro – Brazil, 2000. – Almada Dance Festival, Portugal, 2001 – Dance on Screen – The Place – London, 2003 – Hong Kong Dance Festival – Hong Kong, 2006 – Sommerwerft 2016, Frankfurt 2016. Evelin presented at daCi 2015. The 2015 Dance and the Child International Conference in Copenhagen address the issue Dance Identities and Evelin was invited to present at the Project Dialog with the lecture; Where are you from? Creative Dance Crossing Boundaries.
Today Evelin is running her own company, MotiveforMotion Dance Work, focusing on process-oriented projects, through adult and children dance workshops and artistic collaboration platform Brazil – HK – Germany.
